Stage Commanders

The next Stage Commander Training Course will be held on:

Thursday 18th of July in the Hibernian Hotel, Mallow, Co. Cork.

Sign on for 7.45pm with training starting at 8:00pm sharp.

This training is suitable for those seeking to renew their licence or those who applying for their first licence. This will be the last training to be provided for the Cork/Kerry/Limerick/Clare area for 2019. Training will be provided by John Quill and Patricia Hogan.

The courses are approximately two hours long and will cover a number of topics, including Public Relations, Reconnaissance, Stage setup and Accident Management.  We would encourage any Stage Commander who requires training and plans to officiate to consider attending the next course.

Newcomers who attend courses will be able to obtain their full Stage Commander licence, once they have officiated as Deputy Stage Commander at two events, or have previously officiated in this role.  Please see official's licence application form for full details.

Please note you must remain for the duration of the course in order for an officials licence to be issued.

Official training and approval requirements are listed on the MI Officials' Licence Application Form available for download under Standard Forms/Officials.

N.B.: The same requirements apply to Race and Rallycross Officials.

The above information can also be found in the current MI Yearbook,  Appendix 100 (Officials' Licences).
