About
The MRCCI was founded with the ideal of keeping the sport inexpensive. The club laid down specifications for the building of single seater racing cars, constructed to a very high safety standard. The Bantam car was soon adopted by the club with its members enjoying many seasons racing in front of large crowds on cinder surfaced tracks in Raheny, Santry, Chapelizod, Portmarnock and Shelbourne Park.
