Each discipline has its own standard regulations. These are the rules and regulations that each competitor must comply with in order to compete in that event.

Regulation is the backbone of all sporting events. It gives a clear picture to all the competitors of the do’s and don’ts during competitions and gives a level playing field to all who wish to compete. 

Regulations will generally cover the date of the event, the start and finish times of the event, the venue for the event, the age of the competitor, the type of cars to be used, the course to be taken, the rules under which the event will be run, and how the winner will be determined.
