VOLUNTEERS & OFFICIALS COMMISSION SEEKS NEW MEMBERS
The Motorsport Ireland Volunteers & Officials Commission was formed in 2019 to further the support and development of volunteers and officials in all branches of the sport. The commission will, among other tasks, set the standards for volunteer training and development, and actively seek feedback from our volunteers and officials and provide them with a voice at the top table in Motorsport Ireland.

Within the Volunteers & Officials Commission there is a marshal’s sub commission and a trainer’s sub commission. The commission would like to expand its membership.

Proposals for membership are invited from members of Motorsport Ireland affiliated clubs.

These should be sent from the club secretary to [email protected], for the attention of the Chairperson of the Volunteers and Officials Commission.

The ideal candidates should:
Have a strong interest in promoting and supporting volunteer activity across all branches of our sport.
Possess excellent interpersonal skills.
Be experienced in/have a history of volunteering/acting as an official.
Have a knowledge of the structure of Motorsport and how it works in Ireland

Proposals should include full contact details along with details of the candidate’s experience and a brief piece on what the candidate believes they can contribute to the commission.

The Volunteers and Officials Commission will consider all proposals on their merits and select a final list of candidates which will then be submitted to the Motor Sport Council for approval.
