This week’s Motorsport Ireland – RIAC classic video from the RPM Motorsport collection is highlights from the 2001 Toyota Super Test.
A unique head to head, shootout event featuring Ireland’s top autotest drivers across the various classes of the discipline, the Toyota Super Test ran on the seafront of Bangor in Co. Down. The exciting format saw 30 drivers whittled down to 2 with JJ Farrell taking on Sam Bowden in a best of 3 final, an encounter which brought out the very best of Alan Tyndall’s commentating skills.
This programme will be available to stream below from 7pm on June 10th.
Next week’s upload will see us head back to 1991 where James Cullen continued his quest to win his home event, the Donegal International Rally.
