Johnny Hickey RIP

Motorsport Ireland would like to express their sympathy on the recent passing of Johnny Hickey. An experienced competitor, Johnny co-drove in over 100 events, the majority of them sitting alongside his father Charlie. The pair won the Southern 4 Rally Championship in 2016. Johnny was also heavily involved in Killarney and District Motor Club, serving a number of roles within the club from submitting event regulations to compiling event programmes

Johnny is survived by his wife Jennifer, his children Alyson, Laura and Conor, parents Charlie and Joan and siblings Charlene, Cathal and Stephen.

In accordance with Government and HSE guidelines and in the interest of public health a private family funeral will take place for Johnny in St Mary's Cathedral. Johnny's Requiem Mass will be live streamed here on Tuesday morning at 10.30am, followed by burial in Aghadoe Lawn Cemetery. The family appreciate your understanding at this difficult time.
