Motorsport Ireland welcomes spectators as ungated events return
The past 18 months have been, without a doubt the most challenging time that most of us will have seen in our lifetime. It has certainly been a challenging time managing the sport. However, we are now on the cusp of normality with the return of special stage rallying and I wish to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who has worked tirelessly through ever changing public health restrictions to get us to this point. It will be fantastic to welcome back spectators to the best free show in the country, however I would urge all spectators to spectate safely, not only by standing in suitable locations but by also wearing a face mask where social distancing isn’t possible. Please obey all officials and marshals and respect other road users, residents and private property. A lot of work has gone into getting stage rallying back up and running and we must all do our part to ensure we keep it.
Yours in Motorsport,
John Naylor
