Watch the 2002 Circuit of Ireland from 7pm, Thursday April 14th

Motorsport Ireland will stream the 2002 Circuit of Ireland Rally from 7pm this Thursday.

This week’s Motorsport Ireland – RIAC classic video from the RPM Motorsport collection is highlights from the 2002 Circuit of Ireland.

Following the tragic losses of Bertie Fisher and Frank Meagher and a Foot and Mouth Disease enforced hiatus, the Irish Tarmac Rally Championship resumed in 2002 with the Circuit of Ireland and a new base, Enniskillen. Andrew Nesbitt was at the peak of his powers around this time and he dominated the event behind the wheel of a P2000 Subaru Impreza WRC to win by over 2 and a half minutes. It was to be start of a devastatingly dominant season for the Armagh driver and his co-driver James O’Brien. 

This programme will be available to stream below from 7pm on April 14th.
