“Volunteers are the unsung heroes of motor sport. Without them, quite simply, we would not be able to go racing,” said FIA President, Jean Todt.

Volunteers are the heart and soul of the Motorsport Ireland organisation, without them there would be no events taking place every weekend up and down the country. The tireless work that takes place behind the scenes and on the day is all down to the people who give up their time to promote Motorsport in Ireland.

Whether you are new to the sport, a competitor, or someone wishing to get back into the sport, there is a place for all. We provide training for all levels and we, along with the local clubs, are always looking for new volunteers to help run our events every weekend.

It is a great way of meeting new people, making new friends and learning new skills. Whether you wish to be a marshal or a Clerk of the Course, we can help you on your journey.

If you wish to know more or to volunteer, contact your local Motorsport Ireland Club or Ronnie Murphy, Motorsport Ireland Safety & Training Officer for more information.
