About:
Galway Motor Club held an International Rally for the first time in 1971 & the event continues to run to this day, usually in February as a curtain raiser for the Irish Tarmac Rally Championship. In late August, the club holds the Galway Summer Rally, a national event. The club also runs an Endurance Trial, Autocrosses & a Hillclimb. In 2018, the club ran a Sprint at the Karting track in Tynagh.
