On the eve of International Women’s Day, Seattle-based DirtFish Rally School has announced the launch of its Women in Motorsport Driver programme, selecting Irish rally driver Aoife Raftery and American circuit racer Michele Abbate as its inaugural drivers.

The highly anticipated first round of the Dacia Sandero Challenge Cup took place last Sunday at the Midland Stages Rally, hosted by the Midland Motor Club.

Eighteen special stages form the itinerary across St. Patrick’s weekend with all of the major Rally 2 marques represented in the top ten.

After months of anticipation and build up, the Motorsport Ireland Junior Rally Series (MIJRS) class of 2025 finally engaged stage mode and set off on what is set to be an incredibly exciting season, and for Jack Kennedy and Cian Caldwell in particular the season opening Midland Stages Rally could not have gone better as they claimed victories in Class 2 & 2A and begin the campaign with maximum points.

M-Sport Ford World Rally Team is excited to announce that Jon Armstrong, alongside new co-driver Shane Byrne, will take on the full 2025 FIA European Rally Championship (ERC) in a Ford Fiesta Rally2.

The 2025 Irish rally season, finally commenced with the Jeremy O’Connor Longford Arms Hotel Rally on Sunday.

Formula BOSS Ireland will host its official 2025 season launch at the Springfield Hotel, Leixlip, on March 23, 2025. The event will feature a display of several race cars, with drivers available for interviews and photographs. Tea, coffee, and light refreshments will be provided.

The Clonakilty Park Hotel West Cork Rally will continue as a three-day event for 2025 and will take place from 14th to the 16th of March.

The 2025 Irish Hillclimb & Sprint Championship will launch on March 8th and 9th at Mondello Race Park, coinciding with the final rounds of the Rallycross Championship before its summer break.

A who's who of Circuit of Kerry Rally drivers and organisers are expected at the 50th-anniversary reunion in the Rose Hotel on March 8.

Donegal Motorclubs prize giving returned on the 22nd February. Missing from the clubs calendar for a number of years, it was re-introduced through the help of Donegal Commercial Vehicles and their sponsorship of the 2024 DMC Club Championship.
