Max Hart moves to European TCR for 2025

Motorsport Ireland's Young Racing Driver of The Year Max Hart today announced his plans for the 2025 season.

The Irish driver will compete in the 2025 TCR Europe Series with Target Competition and Hyundai Motorsport. He will drive the Hyundai Elantra N TCR, an upgraded version of the car he raced so successfully in Asia over the past two seasons. His graduation to the high profile series, which races on some of Europe's top circuits, was made possible with the support of O'Driscoll's Irish Whiskey, a brand that Max says he shares many synergies with, not least a proud Irish heritage.
The prize for winning the 2025 TCR title is free entry for the 2026 TCR World Tour, and that's what the Irish Touring Car star is firmly aiming on sight on.

Max Hart:
"I'm delighted to finally announce my plans for 2025. TCR Europe races on some fantastic tracks, three of which are F1 Circuits. It is great to have increased support from O'Driscoll's Irish Whiskey too, and for a number of reasons. To have an Irish sponsor to showcase on the European stage is very exciting. One of the reasons I have chosen the TCR Europe Series also though, is the prize for the winner of an entry and tyre deal for the 2026 Kumho FIA TCR World Tour.
All the circuits will be new to me, and I am really looking forward to getting testing on them. Target Competition are a fantastic team and the package we have is definitely one with which we can challenge for the title. Target have previously won team and driver titles and we are confident we can repeat this together in 2025. As I am only 23, I will be competing in the Junior Rookie Championship too, but the aim is to run right at the front from the first round at Portimao on April 26/27.”
