Successful Inaugural Round of the Dacia Sandero Challenge Cup

The highly anticipated first round of the Dacia Sandero Challenge Cup took place last Sunday at the Midland Stages Rally, hosted by the Midland Motor Club. The event saw intense competition, with Sandero crews battling for every second on each stage. After a thrilling contest, victory was claimed by Eoin Murray, alongside navigator Tommy Hayes. The duo secured the top spot, followed by Anthony O'Halloran and Declan O'Regan in second place, while Caolan Doyle and Rory Doyle rounded out the podium in third.

The event also welcomed representatives from Cedar Motors (Dacia Ireland) and O'Reilly Motors, Longford, the main Dacia dealer in Longford. Their presence underscored the growing excitement and support surrounding the championship.

The next round of the Dacia Sandero Challenge Cup will take place at the Circuit of Kerry Stages Rally on March 30th. We look forward to another exciting round of the championship and look forward to seeing you all there.
