Euro M-Sport appointed as control fuel supplier for Motorsport Ireland Stage Rallies

Following a comprehensive tendering process, Motorsport Ireland are pleased to confirm that Euro M-Sport have been appointed as the control fuel supplier for all Motorsport Ireland Stage Rallies. Their appointment will start with immediate effect and is for an initial period of three years.

Euro M-Sport will supply Panta Racing Fuel (Panta Max 102 and Panta Rally 98) which must be used by all competitors on all Motorsport Ireland permitted Stage Rallies. There is an allowance for additives for historic cars if required but that must be ordered from Euro M-Sport and will be mixed in advance.

Fuel prices are:

Panta Max 102 €6.15 per litre inclusive

Panta Rally 98 €3.99 per litre inclusive

These are control fuels and as such are the only fuels allowed when competing in Motorsport Ireland permitted Stage Rallies.

Euro M-Sport’s appointment has a number of positives. Competitors will now only pay for the fuel they use, it will level the playing field and will eliminate refuelling from service areas, a process which has already been trialled successfully over the last two years with the introduction of designated refuelling zones. It will also ensure Motorsport Ireland are at the forefront of environmental and sustainability practices in motorsport.

Commenting on the announcement Motorsport Ireland President Aiden Harper said; “This is a major step forward for Motorsport Ireland in relation to rallying. The introduction of a control fuel along with a dedicated supplier being delivered in safe and regulated way brings us to a new level in our sport. This is another key milestone on the delivery of our strategic plan under environmental and sustainability, while improving overall safety and fairness in our sport. Motorsport Ireland looks forward to working with Euro M-Sport on the roll out of this key project."

Our work supplying the Irish Tarmac Rally Championship in 2023/24, coupled with our experience working with the British Superbike Championship, the North West 200 Road Races, OEM Manufacturers and multiple Formula 1/GT/WRC Teams throughout Europe, helped us highlight the advantages to both competitors and the events. A true level playing field was created, with some of the closest Rallying anywhere in the world.
