Watch the 2005 Belfast Motorplus Autotest from 7pm, Thursday March 20th

This week’s Motorsport Ireland – RIAC classic video from the RPM Motorsport collection is highlights from the 2005 Belfast Motorplus Autotest.

Run in a novel, tandem, knockout format, the 2005 Belfast Motorplus Autotest saw 32 hopefuls whittled down over a series of head to head heats until only Eamonn Byrne and Eddie Peterson remained. In a final which saw a brace of dead heats, it was Peterson who eventually emerged with the win in his Mini Special.
