Trevor Moore took the spoils as the Escort Cosworth driver outpaced the Northern Ireland Championship regulars in the Derry forests. After a difficult start Denis Biggerstaff recovered to second place to keep his Championship hopes alive and there's also a guest appearance from a Coronation Street actor!

The Lurgan Park Rally celebrated its 25th anniversary in 2004 with a strong entry, which included former British Rally Champions, Jonny Milner and Mark Higgins. But it was comparative novice Kevin Lynch who would take the victory with a fine drive in his Subaru. It was to be the first of five consecutive wins for Lynch on this event.

Andrew Nesbitt was joined by motorsport journalist Sammy Hamill for a one off outing as they claimed victory in St. Columb's Park, edging out James Cullen by 10 seconds.
